How the Veterinary Medicine Packaging Line Works
This automated packaging system is engineered to handle veterinary medicine bottles with specialized care, addressing unique temperature control requirements, physical deformation prevention, and safe shipping standards.
The process begins with filled plastic veterinary medicine bottles. A bottle-tilting device lays the bottles flat onto the conveyor belt. A specialized picking mechanism grips the bottle bodies and inserts them precisely into custom foam boxes designed for thermal insulation and impact protection.
After manual lid placement for the foam box (a space-saving design choice, though fully automated lid-placers are available for unrestricted layouts), the foam box is transferred to a horizontal stretch wrapping machine to securely seal the box.
Concurrently, an automatic case erector forms and bottom-seals corrugated shipping cartons. Using a sponge-cup vacuum gripping case packer, the sealed foam boxes are automatically loaded into the outer corrugated cartons according to preset configurations, followed by automatic top sealing.
Finally, the finished outer cartons are transferred to a collaborative robot (cobot) palletizing station, where the cobot safely and neatly stacks the cartons onto pallets for secure storage and logistics distribution.
The comprehensive layout is tailored to optimize factory space while delivering high reliability, minimizing manual labor, and ensuring product safety throughout the cold-chain and distribution process.
